Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Preferred Technology disciplines Food Processing, Microbiology or related areas.
- Microbiological knowledge required.
- CQE (Quality Engineer Certification), CQA (Quality Auditor Certification), CQM (Quality Manager Certification) preferred.
- Proactive, creative and analytic approach.
- Fluent (both oral and written) in English, completely comfortable communicating on a detailed, professional level.
- Experience in (Sea-)food-productions with packaging as canning and pouches and with freezing, pasteurisation and sterilisation technology is preferred.
- Experience in an international operating company is preferred.
- Working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, GFSI-standards (IFS FOOD STANDARD preferred), ISO-standards is required.
- Several years of experience with Supplier Quality Systems in an EU (European Union)-regulated environment is required.
- Several years of experience with Supplier Quality Systems in an FDA (Food & Drug Administration)-regulated environment is preferred. PCQI trained preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent analytic, interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills is a must.
- Strong understanding of supplier development & supplier quality experience is a must.
- Short-term execution and long-term strategic thinking capabilities, ability to multitask with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to interface with external resources and internal resources at all levels.
- Willing to work irregular hours if necessary.
